In the last session of the mercato Caner Erkin was rumoured to be close to a move to Inter in order to reinforce the wing position. This rumour seemed to have subsided with the end of the mercato but has recently resurfaced. According to reports from “Radyosporda.info” the transfer was only stopped due to the fact that the player lacked an EU Passport but this track could potentially reopen in January.
