According to Brazilian newspaper “Diário de Säo Paulo”, new coach Roberto Mancini is interested in recalling Alvaro Pereira to Inter . Pereira is currently out on loan at Sao Paulo and the club is said to be interested in making the deal permanent at the end of this season.

He was great at Porto but when he got here he didn’t play so well. I feel his biggest problem was his decision making, if he improves on that he would be a good addition at left back.
My view is that he is simply a gritty tackler with power and speed. I agree with those who comment that his offense, and especially his crossing is sub-standard. However better a spirited defenseman, than a confused defensive winger like Nagi.

He was hopeless last time but sometimes a new manager and system can rejuvenate a player. I cant see San Paolo buying him for more than what we paid for him so if Mancini sees something there it cant hurt to trust him!

Well Nagatomo mostly and a few times Zanetti. If you saw him in the WC, he’s great defensively off the ball, but looks lost on the ball, he runs like a horse, but isn’t a good crosser anymore, and his go-to is to lob the ball down the line.
I were average in defence, but sucked offensively. I have never seen a professionel player making such bad crosses. At left back though i think he would be decent for the price.
