Roberto Mancini wants a winger and has set his sights on former Torino forward Alessio Cerci. After lengthy discussions with Piero Ausilio and Marco Fassone at Appiano Gentile yesterday Mancini has reaffirmed his wish to land Cerci. Cerci has had an unsuccessful season with Atletico finding little space under Diego Simeone. Negotiations will be difficult though because the Spanish side are refusing to make a loss on the player. With Inter playing Dnipro tomorrow, the Ukrainian winger Yevhen Konoplyanka is once again on the Nerazzurri radar. Out of contract in June, Mancini is sure to be closely examining the forward who Inter might like to take in January to avoid the inevitable scrum for his signature during the summer.
