you do remember how sneijder begged inter to go for robben after his 2012 ucl nightmare?.. the best time to buy players is when you can get them cheap AND are confident they’ll hit form soon after the transfer… of course, v persie is the wrong side of 30 now but it depends on the price. his game isn’t built on pace either. he’s got great technique and an eye for goal. he could do well in serie a in the twilight of his career
