Inter is looking for a winger and the latest name that’s of interest for the Nerazzurri is a player they scouted a long time ago. Non other than Joel Campbell. According to Gianluca di Marzio Campbell is now on Inter’s radar because of the difficulties in getting Cerci and Lamela. Ausilio who had already started enquirements with the staff of the player, has turned the pressure up again on his trip to London. Ausilio has had a meeting with the agent of the player and more news will be following.

Campbell is not a winger, he can’t be competition for Lamela or Cerci (the reality is that we don’t have money for them, i’m not even sure that now Tottenham want to sell Lamela)
Campbell sounds realistic, but I’m not impressed AT ALL.
With the likes of Konoplyanka and Ayew approaching expiring contracts and with Cerci publicly saying he’s not happy with Atleti we go for a guy who can’t make a minute for Arsenal after performing decently in the World Cup. We should be really careful here, investing hope in a player like Campbell could cost us dearly. Maybe as a squad player, an alternative, certainly not someone that we can depend on to any degree.
He is my second choice if we fail to land Konoplyanka.
I don’t know. He is not even a sub at Arsenal having only played 100 some minutes since returning from his loan spell. Think there are better options out there, e.g. Konoplyanka, who might not be world class, but at a least a certain step up in quality from what we have. Also, get rid of Guarin. I’ve been protecting this man too long now – he’ll never shine in an Inter shirt.
it will be great to have konoplyanka but campbell is maybe more realistic option
Good
