According to reports from “Tuttosport” there may now be issues with the renewal of Mauro Icardi. Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has been doing well in the side and the Turin news source indicates that this has caused Icardi to become hesitant on the renewal of his contract with Inter.

Icardi is a very promising player. But he is far from being world class. We all have seen it too many times. The promising young players don’t always become stars (Balotelli, Giovinco, Aquilani… just to mention a few examples in Italy) . So, there is no guarantees. If he is going to start demanding crazy salary increases and behaving like a diva, we will have to sell him and make some cash on him. Don’t get me wrong guys I like him a lot, but at this point Inter needs humble players willing to prove themselves and work for the Inter shirt.
