The name that has been linked the most with Inter in recent weeks has been Ezequiel Lavezzi. The PSG winger is understood to be unhappy at in Paris, and wants a return to Italy with either Napoli or Inter. The largest obstacle for Inter to sign Lavezzi is the player’s current wages. Lavezzi is currently getting payed 330 thousand euros per month and is a sum that Inter is certainly unable to pay. Hopefully, the player will be able to take a pay cut to join the Nerazzurri.

since when is Lavezzi a “midfielder” ?! I think sempreinter.com should make me an offer for a reporter/editor position ^^
I believe Lavezzi missed the INTER train already twice: when he moved away from Serie A and then Mazzarri got fired. Better invest in younger winger like Konoplyanka or Cerci/Shaqiri/Jovetic.
To be honest here, I really don’t see why we believe that Lavezzi will be so keen to take a wage cut and leave PSG for Inter of all possible clubs.
I used to believe this more when Mazzarri was coach simply because of the good relationship that he had with the player while both were at Napoli, but now I don’t see anything that would tempt Lavezzi to join Inter. We aren’t playing in the Champions League and can’t pay him the money that other clubs will probably be willing to give him.
I’m sure Inter will face competition that could crush them when it comes to Lavezzi and even meet the financial standards that PSG have set for him since he moved (Juventus, Napoli come to mind in Italy alone…)
why would we go for him anyway when there are better younger and cheaper options like ayew konoplyanka campbell cerci ….
Well to be frank, I do consider Lavezzi to be better than all of those players, but I just think he’s out of our league and wouldn’t be a feasible option for Inter considering the situation they’re in right now.
i think that it is no tragedy if we don’t get him
passed the best form too old
how young do you guys want from a player?
he’s only 29, golden age for footballer, it’s a time when a footballer reach his peak, and it it will last at least for 2-3 years before performance started to declining.
25,26, we are looking for players who we can develop with not huge wages
then, how many forward player we want to develop? we already have Icardi. and only have Osvaldo as a developed player and declining Palacio for forward line.
we’re gonna be a seeder club if we only try to develop players.
we develop the players, and other teams will harvest them when they’re reaching their prime performances, because we will never win without developed players.
there are many opportunities on the market like cerci and konoplyanka for example and they are not any worse than lavezzi and younger than him
well, cerci don’t fit your criteria for cheap young developing player. he’s 27 years old with net salary almost 3m/year.
while konoplyanka might fit you’re cheaper developing player at the moment, a lot of richer club also interested in him which mean his salary will increase significantly. plus he’s not familiar with serie A, we don’t know how long it would take for him to settle.
cerci is ala guarin 4 times better 27 is acceptable if we look to konoplyanka like you than better no buy players who never played in serie A
don’t get me wrong, I like konoplyanka too, LOL.
I’m just pointing out your narrow perspective about age (by saying 29 is old)
then it’s you who continue to add criteria of “25-26 years old” and “not huge wages” criteria.both cerci and konoplyanka would require huge wages, well at least by our standard.
yes but we agree that we have to improve somehow
