Inter’s new assistant coach Sylvinho will bring an even more international touch to the club. Corriere dello sport reports that the player will join the staff straight away and that he will take care of the defensive part. The newspaper also reports that the player has told his friends:

“Inter’s offer was to important to decline. Mancini’s call has made me excited.”

Sylvinho who has been the assistant coach at Corinthians, Cruzeiro and Sport Recife also had a playing career at Barca and Manchester City amongst other clubs.
