The front page of “La Gazetta dello Sport” used some space in order to shed light on Sunday’s match between Inter and Udinese. Specifically, the paper drew attention to questions that have arisen over Inter’s attack and they used this space to promote the idea that there will be a duel for a spot between Icardi and Osvaldo.
The former Roma striker has done well in recent weeks, while Icardi has had trouble finding the net. However, Icardi has been playing many games this season and likely needs rest. Regardless, competition for places is normal in football and it is not unusual for a run of form to be rewarded with more time on the pitch.
