I would prefer Juan Jesus to be Our Captain… he already been in the club for years, and he’s improving a lot… he always fight, and he loves this shirt so much… he deserve to wear the armband… and for Rano, he have no single thing to proof that he has the ability to command on the field… lack of concentration, and he have no idea how to boost the team’s mentality…

Regardless of his skills of players, i think yes he is. He has been chosen by Zanetti himself and agreed by all the lads proving he’s worthy enough for the arm band. Unfortunately He’s the most senior player in the team along with naga if im not mistaken.
Yes there are players who has better leadership skills (seemingly) such as vidic, hernanes, ambrossio because they were the captain in their previous club. But they are new guys. Naga? No way. Juan, he’s still unstable and too young for the position, it may creates jelousy or else. Yet he might be the next captain in 2-3 years. Handa? He’s not a leader type. He’s not talking much in the team or dressing room.
Rano still has much to prove to be acknowledge to hold the legacy of Zanetti, but I believe he will earn that as the time goes by. He’s no match to Zanetti’s charisma a leader, but he’s a gentleman as far as I heard about him.
I respect Zanetti, so if Zanetti said that Rano is the man. Then he’s worthy.
JJ is the future inter captain for sure. I could see him having a long & successful career in nerazzurri colours
To be honest none of you (us) can decide who should be the new captain. For all we know Ranocchia could be the best leader Inter have in their dressing room. Yes, he’s way too inconsistent, I agree, but none of us have any idea what goes on in that dressing room.
The naked truth is that Inter don’t have a single perfect fit for the role right now. Don’t mention Vidic – he was captain at United and probably knows the job but he can’t even speak Italian and has been a mess since he arrived (which was a couple of months ago). JJ is way too young for the role and you have no idea what his influence may or may not be as far as his teammates are concerned.
Oh how I miss Cambiasso…
We may or may not like the choice that the club made, but it has been made already and we have to presume it was an informed decision. The transition was too quick and the players that came in had nothing that’s comparable to the authority of those that left. The captain conundrum is just another consequence of the crap managing of the club in recent years.

As i’ve said we know nothing about them off the pitch. Who’s the most prolific member of team, who always encourages his teammates, and acting like the leader. Team and management who know that, and exactly why rano was chosen as captain. I dont say rano as the best captain, but he’s the best that we got at this point. And I dont want to break down team’s mentality again with blaming rano as uncapable captain and blablabla where we are in a positive atmosphere Mancini At the moment! We should suport him and the lads, not giving them even more pressure to change the captain.
Definitly Samir Handanovic. From day he arrive, he is best Inter player
in most of the games, he is more professional than any other and he is

I agree and have shared this opinion many times. Handanovič seems like a down-to-earth guy that fits well in the squad, yet is one of the most experienced and most valuable to Inter. I would instantly give him the armband. He already shows great leading qualities, commands the team and they all seem to respect his decisions. The only problem is that you may lack a field captain from time to time, since your captain is a GK. Also I don’t know what the person that said Kovačič was thinking.
Im not the opposite of your idea.. But here’s my analysis..
If Handanovic handed captain armband, it must be means he is stay for couple years.. And many of us last years agree that better Inter to sell Handa so we have spot for Bardi.. If Handa stay 2-3 years from now, it most likely the management will cash in Bardi.
And at the current situation (and maybe 2-3 years now), Bardi’s performance is no where near handanovic, i think handa will play for inter until he turn 35, and he will still the 1st choice goalie. I’m very doubted Bardi will wait such a long time to be Inter’s 1st goalie as long as handa still there.. And can be hell dificult if Handa is the captain..
maybe u r right…i was one of them u said ( to sell Hada and get some cash ) but i am realy confused about that now. We need some true leaders in the team after Zanetti, Cambiasso and Samuel leaved.And i can’t see any in the team, only Hada and maybe Juan but he is too young.Handanovic is in his top form last 2 years and i am afraid that Inter will cash on him very cheap.Only offers over 30 million should be accepted. Thats my opinion.

The arm band deserves to go to inter’s best player and that clearly should be Vidic. He is the only player on Inter that deserves any sort of award this year (in his case it’s the bidone d’oro) but in his defense he deserves it hands down ! if you look at inter’s starting lineup it’s pretty obvious that you can play on this team without speaking a word of Italian so in his case he speaks english that’s good enough to communicate to mancini. He’s been responsible for changing the outcome of several games this season (mind you not in inter’s favour) but regardless he’s a game changer! give him the arm band and surely this team will not do worse than Thohir’s Philadelphia 76ers who are 1 win 18 losses and dead last in the NBA
