It is true that he sucked during his stay at Inter ( that may be an understatement) but he was really good at porto where he actually played as a Lb not a Lw if we get him back I hope he gets his fair share of oppurtunity and mainly cause Dodo has to rest some times and Pereira is better Defensively so if he performs I’ll be lucky with 2 pereforming Lb’s
He sucked under strama playing as a lb and as a lw under mazzarri. This mediocre should go and watch the sheep cuz he was the weakest point in our team along with guarin.
the WHOLE team started crumbling and falling apart after injuries hit us, but he performed for porto AND Uruguay in various competitions, so if he came back I still think he should get his chance
Hmm Stramma actully played with 3 at the back (Samuel, Ronno and JJ) for most of the season – so yes, Pereira was used as a wingback! He did great at the WC lately as a left back!
Yes in wc but he struggled in serie a bcuz its a strong league. Pereira can only play well in small teams, so hes not inter material.
He struggled – I think – because he had to be very attacking minded as a wingback! He is quite strong defensivly buck not in attack. Financially a recall would be a smart move, now we’re playing with backs.
And NO the World Cup of cause is MUCH stronger than our beloved, but not that strong anymore, serie A!!
agree, he was our scapegoat back then. he had almost no cover from midfield and pressure got to him. he is better then what we saw. good player for lb

I thought because he’s useless.
This is a perfect example on how to waste resources. Lend a player, whitch most likely will not ever be bought, to a team for 1.5 years. Other choices could have been to sell in the summer that year or make him compete for the position, making both players in that position more sharp and competitive.

It would be ideal if we can sell him, but the problem is, which team that interested to buy him? As similar motive in Jonathan and Lord Kuz. I will be happy if we find a really good wingback. Pereira and Jonathan is not an Inter material.

“a branca” that’s a nice term there 😀 brancad is nowhere near this team yet his legacy are still all over the team. it’s like healing a disease without really destroying the leftover virus. sooner or later it will compromise the whole body
