of course he had to be given much more than just an attacker. the team had so many flaws in so many area. not to even mention their backup. the only way this kind of team could survive and can be considered success is just by start to focusing on which path they wanted to take. february right after the mercato should be the time where they set the team’s target.. except off course the club spend huge and just say fuck off to ffp because we would either almost for sure will get penalties or almost for sure will not qualified for either european competition

I have to agree with with him on this one I am afraid, we should take what we can get for Alvarez. He simply is not good enough.
I think the right back is our biggest concern right now. All the players we have in that position are pure trash and we desperately need an upgrade there. Darmian is a perfect option. He has a decent cross and can defend, too. I’m tired of seeing the japanese midget getting passed like a kindergartner and failing to mark anyone and everyone else trying to cover for him, leaving huge gaps in their own areas. If we’d just get Darmian this winter, I’d be happy.

If we go near Lukas Leiva and Glan Johnson I will go bananas. Firstly both are average, not dynamic and have obvious weaknesses. Secondly their wages will be too high as they are coming from Liverpool, a club with much better financial resources than us and will not accept a pay reduction to join Inter. We need to learn that you cannot build long term success by bringing in these types of players. Anyway we already have both Medel and M’Vila who can play as enforcers, surely we dont need Leiva as well. We need someone who can get the ball forward, a deep lying playmaker. A deep lying playmaker, at least one fullback and another centre back who can actually play instead of Rannochia. People need to stop talking about Bonnazoli’s age too, judge him on his talent and abilities. He should be considered a first team player and get rotation with the others. The fact he hasnt is unforgivable. Look at players like Sterling and Julian Draxler and many other teenagers who were a similar age to Bonnazoli when they broke into the first team. He is quality so let him play! Palacio was awful that last game but Bonnazoli didnt get on until the final dying breaths of the match!
what about wingers
Wingers are a tough one because there are not that many good ones out there and they generally cost a fortune. It depends if Mancini wants wingers who cut in and switch position with each other, often acting as advanced midfielders, or out and out wingers. I personally prefer the first option because their are more options and they offer more defensively. My concern with out and out wingers is that Inter in the last 15 years has spent a fortune on them and got very little back in return. I would love to see Shaquiri come in as he is magical but I fear we cannot compete with all the other clubs who would inevitably bid for him.
There’s a plenty of good and promising wingers available actually. Konoplyanka, Thauvin, Ayew, Bakkali just to name a few and if we have cash we can even try for Lamela or Cerci.
And let’s not forget someone who deserves more from Inter: Ruben Botta.
Fair call mate. I would love to see Konoplyanka at Inter although there seems to be enough interest in him to perhaps push him out of Inters range. As for the others some are out and out wingers some are more inside forwards. I just dont want another Quaresma or Schelotto coming into the team!
what about Botta or Laxalt? if we have to sign someone, I prefer Balazs Dzsudzsak, you know, another rescue mission for someone with good talent but now struggled on their own team like M’Villa, Osvaldo

After the treble, Inter’s transfer policy was to: (A) loan promising youngsters /Biraghi, Bardi, Crisetig, Romano, Bessa, Longo, Duncan, Bianchetti, Tassi, Capello and many more/ and bury them alive there, (B) sell key talents /Coutinho, Santon, Destro, Bonucci, Benassi, Livaja and many more/ for a tiny cash, (C) buy other league’s garbage players /Forlan, Zarate, Silvestre, Pereira, Jonathan, Mudingayi, Alvarez, Gargano, Rocchi, Kuzmanovic, Schelotto, Wallace, Belfodil and many more/. What Thohir, Ausilio and Mancini need to do this winter is to sign Lamela or Cerci at any cost, sign Darmian by offering Jonathan+Campagnaro+cash, and extend Icardi’s contract. We should continue with following XI starting from January, in my opinion:

Recall all the inter rejects and build a squad with them….then inter will need to find a GM that can find and buy talent on the cheap. Look, it’s very possible to do…..Juve got Vidal for 11 mill, pogba 1 mill, Coman free, Llorente and pirlo free…….Napoli bought Callejon, Jorginho and Mertens for 10 mill each……Milan got Menez, Montolivo and De Jong for free……what about Inter? 13 mill for Guarin, 5 mill for Kuz, 6 mill Naga, a buttload of cash for Ranocchia……………it’s a disgrace to say inter is poor if you overpay for undertalented players but it’s happening because NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY FOR INTER !!! you either overpay or you don’t get the player on the roster it’s that simple. Either you scrap this team or fill up the roster with more scraps it’s your choice but if it was me I would rather start over.
