Sylvinho is expected in Milan on Friday evening to complete his move to Inter according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The former Brazilian international will sign a contract to become Roberto Mancini’s assistant manager and field the necessary paperwork that has lead to this delay. One further problem for Inter and Sylvinho is the fact that he doesn’t hold any UEFA recognised coaching license. A generic one he obtained in Brazil isn’t submittable in Europe and he will now have two choices. To complete the B license this January or head to Coverciano in June to study for the full A lisence. Only upon completing this qualification will UEFA officially recognise him as an assistant coach.
