In separate reports, two English newspapers have speculated on a possible switch for the problematic pair, could it happen in January? According to the ‘Mirror‘ Guarin is a loan target for Reds boss Brendan Rodgers as he seeks reinforcements to transform Liverpool’s stuttering campaign. Inter have insisted Guarin would only leave on a permanent transfer but could Balotelli’s availability change the Nerazzurri’s thinking? Meanwhile the ‘Daily Star‘ insist that Mancini wants to continue his working relationship with Balotelli at Inter. Despite their problems in Manchester it is Mancini who has overseen some of the best moments in the controversial strikers career.
