Sky report this afternoon that Roberto Mancini wants a winger this January. He needs wide forwards in order to implement the attacking scheme he has in mind. The first choice is Ezequiel Lavezzi with Alessio Cerci the alternative. Mancini doesn’t seem enthused with Nemanja Vidic so there could be a purchase in central defence. This is similar to the situation in midfield, if Mancini remains unconvinced with his current options he’ll ask for a reinforcement.
