The Daily Express reports that Atletico Madrid are ready to make a move for Mauro Icardi as soon as January, the English paper explains that the Spanish club is afraid that the bidding on the Argentine would be a long battle in the summer with Chelsea and other clubs reported monitoring him.
It also say that Inter will be forced to sell their young talented asset in order to comply with the financial fair play rule and use the money to shape the team as Mancini wants, as the striker can be sold for around €20 million, more or less.

we can push them to swap icardi with Cerci plus 25-30 mil cash…remember cerci is 27 yo,wont develop again, and their fail transfer…icardi is still 21 yo, very talented player and will be great striker.
with that money we can buy konoplyanka, kramaric and balotelli.

We can’t sell him now. We are already short on strikers. Let’s keep him until the summer. Hopefully he would get to around 20 goals. That should increase his price and hopefully start a bidding war between 2 clubs.
ur right. following the rumours we would replace icardi with balotelli. hell no. in the summer we could get way more than 20 mil for icardi and we have more time to practice with the new striker.
No one is untransferable, not Icardi, not Ranno not even Handanovic – for the right price! The only one we should keep at all price is Kovacic, the rest should be sold in order to finance new buys!
Osvaldo actually seems a better fit for us… If we sell Icardi to Atletico it should only be a deal that involves Cerci and cash
