Lucas Leiva could seriously be on his way to Inter.

The move looks more and more possible as now FIFA agents are working on bringing the 27 year-old to Inter on loan without obligation to buy. The Brazilian defensive midfielder has been at Liverpool since 2007 and has amassed 256 appearances, with seven goals.

Mancini spoke on the Brazilian recently:

“Midfield: Lucas Leiva? Capoue? The Brazilian is always great, his experience there would be helpful. But he’s always Liverpool’s…we’ll see. The clubs do not give up easily,” said Inter’s manager.

FcInternews.it has revealed that the brokers are working on a loan deal with the right, not the obligation to purchase at the end of the season. One stumbling block could definitely be his salary, which is just under €4 million. Come January, negotiations could pick up.
