Adnan- Januzaj

Tuttomercatoweb has released that Everton have usurped Inter to take pole position in chase of Adnan Januzaj.

The reasoning is that Roberto Martinez wants to reinforce his attack, and being close to home, he may prefer Everton. Van Gaal, who has been reluctant to let the winger leave permanently, would also be able to keep an eye on the Belgian from closer. Roberto Mancini highly rates the left-footed player, and wants him for an 18-month loan. Everton’s offer has complicated this.

The website also claims that a ‘deal in principle’ has been reached by United and Everton for the loan. This would be very odd however, given how many clubs are interested in the player. This report is also odd because of how recently Van Gaal opened up the possibility of a move away. It is interesting then to say the club has so quickly agreed a deal, over a week before the window opens.

Januzaj’s father reportedly wishes for him to stay in the Premier League as well. Things have quickly turned against Inter it seems. This story is by no means over. ‘Tis the season to be silly, and silly it has become, very quickly.

Do you guys think Inter should continue the chase for him? Remember, the current offers are just a straight loan, not loan-to-buy.
