Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that Arsenal has lowered their initial demands for the loan of Podolski.
Piero Ausilio has been working hard in London to smooth the road towards a deal and it seems to be paying off. The attacker can be secured on six-month loan for €1.5 million according to the transfer portal, with a further €1.7 million in possible bonuses. With a reported wage of €2 million for his initial six-month stay, the total could reach a maximum outlay of around €5 million by the summer. In June, an option to buy the player outright for €6-€7 million will be discussed.

Author’s note: While it may be disheartening to see the costs add up, especially in our financial situation…such is the business. These are the costs that go alone with getting a proven, focused, very capable superstar attacker.
What do you think of the reported figures?

Will give hope to the squad and fans
Sounds good.
Figures are fine since such a player can’t be loaned for free. What i don’t like is that it’s not a fixed figure for June which could mean the price increasing if he does well..
Amen.
Fair enough
