With him and Poldi we will have a very decent attack-minded team. I’m all for getting him. He has great vision and precise crosses. Which should make the R/L backs stay back and help the defense more. Where Nagatomo sucks as well, but that’s none of my business.:)
Shaqiri over lavezzi anyday, and it fits inters business model for a good return of invest. Lavezzi is finished and would only disapoint since he is not as good as he once was at Napoli. Go for shaqiri!

I see us signing Salah no matter what. Which i think is smart seeing as he is 22, can have an immediate impact and we can get him for an extended loan with the option to buy. Then we should sign one of Lavezzi or Podolski who are both great experienced players who will really fuel our attack. Personally I would prefer Lavezzi because I think he is one of the more exciting players out there and he has such a long history of interest from Inter. But I think Podolski is a really great alternative because he is hungry to prove that he is worthy of full time football. I feel like Guarin might go to either facilitate the buying of one of these guys or maybe not if its a loan with a right to buy in the summer. I think the idea Lassana Diara coming in is really smart business by Ausilio. I think he is finding a hidden gem for our midfield from a guy with world class experience from Real Madrid and Chelsea. He could be a Cambiasso type player to hold together the midfield for essentially a free transfer. I love it. I can’t wait to see what the actual moves are and to get back to winning ways in the second half of the season. 6 points separates us and 3rd place. That should be the goal and a few key signings can really make the difference in getting us those extra few wins to climb the table!!! Forza Inter!!!

I always like your posts because they are logical and rational. But frankly, wouldn’t you like more Shaqiri / Konoplyanka? I think they can offer more than Salah, especially on the long term. Also hopefully we will sign more BOSMAN free transfers, not just Diarra. Luiz Adriano/Ayew/Gignac are all out of contract in summer 😀 Schar [Basel defender] also!

I wrote this before the recent developments with Shaqiri and didn’t realize that he could be an attainable signing. I think Mancini has contributed to giving Inter a new appeal to great players throughout Europe who want a starting role at a major club. I think Ausilio deserves a lot of credit too. This is no Marco Branca, he is a great judge of talent and can make big deals happen even with the restrictions of FFP. I also love Thohir demand for young, experienced, and class players. I can’t even describe how excited I am about the prospect of Shaqiri wearing our colors. I am praying this transfer goes through. And you are right! there is so much potential out there for bosman free transfers both now and in the summer!!! FORZA INTER!!

Both Lavezzi and Podolski is almost 30 years old! Losing 27 year old, in-form Cerci to Milan was a shame. If we are in negotiation with PSG, why we do not push for Pastore? He is much more needed than Lavezzi. Ausilio needs to bring Pastore and Lamela to Inter since we lost Cerci.
In form Cerci? I don’t think he was anything but in form during his spell with Atletico Madrid.
in form? cerci is nothing compared to podolski however i hate germans. him and lavezzi are hardworkers and they have very very good physical condition. and age wont make them die as their age grow unlike cerci.

Considering there age and price we can only get one out of Lavezzi, Podolski. And considering we have decent finishers in Palacio, Osvaldo and Icardi we should go for a fast player like Lavezzi who is more comfortable playing on the outside. Podolski is more a second striker like Palacio than a winger.
Poldi doesn’t have the speed, but he can run all day long.
