Corriere dello sport writes an interesting article about Mauro Icardi:
“Hoping to begin the new year as a protagonist, Mauro Icardi feels the responsibility to continue his positive tradition against Juventus. Yesterday afternoon the Argentine arrived very punctually at the Pinetina for the first training session ofthe year. Maurito knows very well that he missed two great chances against Lazio and PSG, but he is still calm. Both because his child Francesca will be born very soon(and he wants to dedicate a goal to her) and because in his career the games against Juventus has always given him satisfactions.
Icardi has played three games against Juventus and has scored four goals against the Bianconeri. 2012/2013 he got his breakthrough scoring two goals at the Juventus Stadium against Juve with his Sampdoria which had Sampdoria take three points back with them home. The ironical thing is that that game was played the 6th of January 2013 and now this Juventus-Inter will be played the 6th of January. Something that Icardi hopes will bring luck. In the second game against Juventus in the 2012-2013 season Icardi scored his 10th goal ever in the Serie A and gave Sampdoria the victory with 3-2. Last season he only needed five minutes on the field with Inter to give Inter the lead against Juventus at the San Siro in a game that ended 1-1.
