Inter’s scouting unit remains focused on players from South America, as it has often in the past. The club has had a lot of success bringing in talent from the region. According to reports from “TuttoMercatoWeb” Inter currently have their eye on 22-year-old Boca Juniors midfielder, Marcelo Meli. Last season the player played 18 matches in the Argentinian League and Copa Sudamericana, scoring a single goal.

Inter should have done better on acquiring the South American talents before they went overpriced and out of the club’s reach. Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Arturo Vidal, Pablo Dybala. Luciano Vietto…all could arrive at half the price (or even lower) if Inter had better scouts and weren’t so hesitant in getting them earlier when they had the chance (thx Branca!).
the stats sound like ricky’s at velez; they don’t exactly rock my world. admittedly he’s a year younger and Boca is another level from Velez but still
Luciano Acosta!
