Inter and Liverpool remain in the Shaqiri chase. Liverpool have money readied now, €14 million by many accounts. While Bayern would prefer immediate purchase, the player prefers Inter. After speaking with Ausilio, his family, and agent/brother Erdin, the player decidedly wants to join the Nerazzurri. The Milanese club’s offer is €3 million immediately for a loan, and €12 million to be paid starting in the summer, with payments over the next three years.

Author’s note: Another factor that could be importance is how close Milano, and especially Appiano Gentile is to his family home in Chiasso. His parents live just 50 km from Milano, and 15 km from Appiano Gentile. Man, I hope they’re good with words… I’m trusting Mancini’s Jedi Mind Tricks here…
