The Telegraph reports that Inter have won the Shaqiri race. The Swiss international will join Inter on loan for six months before sealing a permanent 12 million pound move. Liverpool will now focus their interest to Mario Mandzukic after losing out on Leeds rising star Lewis Cook.

Author’s note: I cannot trust the English media. Express stated that Liverpool won the Shaqiri race. Then the Telegraph stated that Inter were to sign Shaqiri. All I can say is wait and see. What do you guys think of the English media?

I don’t know about Telegraph, but one of the few reliable newspapers in Britain is Guardian. Dailyfail talk so much rubbish. Express is not much better. All in all it’s only the media. We have to wait and see with our own eyes when Shaqiri lands in Milan and sign the contract with Inter.
this is what really heartbreaking nowadays, when we hear such news of great player being acquired by inter, we tend to think that it is unreal. Well this also happen to me, I am still skeptical that we get shaqiri, since we experience so many letdowns for the past couple years, with paulinho saga, bonaventura, cerci and etc. But I am really hopeful and believe that we will acquire SHAQIRI in the end. FORZA INTER MILAN!!

Don’t care which media says it, as long as I don’t see a pic of Shaqiri landing in Milano with an Inter scarf around his neck – he’s not here. GdS have announced that Shaqiri has said yes to Inter, but I’m not sure I buy that either, despite the fact that it makes sense.
