Tuttosport reports how Inter plans to reinvest some gains this summer.

Inter are banking on the sales of Ricky Alvarez and Saphir Taïder in their spending program. €18 million is the total reimbursement for both players. Unless Sunderland are relegated, they are forced to buy Alvarez. And the Algerian is on an option to buy deal, but Inter will try to keep Taïder in the Emilia-Romagna region.

Of that €18 million, €12 million is directly reserved for the Shaqiri deal, the rest going into remaining budget. Other expenditures already planned out of the total transfer budget include €7 million to buy Osvaldo, and a payment of €2.5 million for Gary Medel. Yann M’Vila (€9 million option) will leave at the end of the season, and the payments for Dodô will start in 2016. Any negotiation for Podolski will depend on how he fares. M’Vila’s situation could change depending on any outgoing midfielders, and if his performances and fitness increase in quality, and quantity respectively.

However the biggest potential cash cow remains the Champions League. “At this time, all energies are focused on the Champions League, whose group stage alone guarantees €28 million,” wrote the paper.
