Reports in England continue to circulate that several Premier League clubs are monitoring Inter’s Mauro Icardi. The Daily Express go one step further claiming that Jose Mourinho sees the ex Sampdoria man as the ideal replacement for Didier Drogba. The Ivorian is set to retire at the seasons end and the newspaper insist that Chelsea could meet Inter’s asking price of £30 million. Liverpool and Tottenham are the other clubs on the trail of ‘Maurito’ but Mourinho is prepared to beat any offer they can produce.

I wouldn’t sell Icardi for a mansion and 100 million. No, not because he is worth even more but you just can’t sell players with a potential like Icardi’s just to get money which you’re going to end up buying something not worse as much, also, I’d rather starve myself for three days than see a player who was once literally on my team whom I could have used but instead now I have to regret what I did buy watching him shine when he’s at his best but not even on my team. Icardi is happy at Inter. Cherish that.

I think if ge gets support on the wings. Specially by Chelsea whit Hazard and Willian he can be in the next 5 years one od the best strikers of the world beside Lewandowski and so on. Icardi is a classical finisher and has for me whit KOvacic the greatest possibilies to be one od the best!
His price after this season will most probably rise towards 40-50 millions if he can score as he has done so far…..so no! No deal now but in the summer yes 40-50 millions could buy us a new backline and we can look around for a new striker…..i wonder why we don’t take Kramaric…..and loan him out this season and bring him back if we sell Icardi….he can score goals….
I say don’t sell at any cost. inter is a big team and must focus on the important young ones like icardi, jesus and kovacic. I have rarely seen a finishing ability like icardis and he reminds me of milito – he could score from only one opportunity. Imagine icardi in 5 years time when he has developed his strength, passing, vision and gotten more experience.. he can be the best striker in the world. with podolski and hopefully shaqiri on his sides and kovacic, hernanes and guarin behind him, he should be able to score 20 goals a season.
Lets face it, 30 mil pounds is like 35 mil euros. And for that kind of money we should let maurito go.
We can easily reinforce the team for the new season, and if we qualify for champions league, we also get an additional 28-30 million euros

No. Maybe he missed the chances against Rube but he is still a very lethal finisher and he can further develop. Maybe if a £50 mil offer, it would be tempting to.
