Guido Abers spoke to De Telegraaf about the possibility of his client Wesley Sneijder’s possible move to Juventus.

“Yes, Juve want Wes,” said the agent. “However, only when the two clubs agree to a deal can we really consider this hypothesis. Until then we focus only on Galatasaray. The player would be happy to return to Italy, where he achieved his great success.”

Author’s note: Guess Mr. Agent failed to remember where exactly in Italy his client achieved all that success. Brief geography/history lesson should fix that. However, after the way Sneijder was treated (yes he didn’t want a pay-cut when others took one, but why did we extend/enhance his contract the year before?), we cannot expect him to exclude such offers, especially at this stage in his career. Let us not forget that burning bridges is something our previous management was very good at.

Do you think Sneijder will move to Juventus?
