According to Sport Mediaset Roberto Mancini was able to convince Lucas Leiva. The Liverpool midfielder now seems willing to move to Italy. After the deal for Shaqiri is found, the club will move to complete the midfield, with the 27 year-old Italo-Brazilian the first option. The deal will be the now iconic loan with right of purchase.

Why on earth do we need this guy???
We need someone next to Medel in the middle of the field.
We already have M’Vila, who in my opinion deserves a chance to prove himself.. But you never know what’s going on “behind the scenes”.
Well Mancini is trying his best to get us back in the race for Third place, and for this to happen we need some proven quality players in the squad. We can’t afford giving time for players to prove themselves.
But M’Vila is a good player. He just needs to get some minutes
