After a heated encounter with teammate Mauro Icardi and coach Roberto Mancini and the resulting indefinite suspension from the team, Osvaldo’s future with Inter has been put in serious doubt. Just one day after the bust up, two Italian clubs in Torino and Cagliari are reported to be interested in taking Osvaldo in the January transfer window. Cagliari is planning on meeting tomorrow with the Inter leadership in order to talk about this possibility. In this case Osvaldo could be reunited with Zola and Casiraghi who managed him as an Italian U-21 player.

Editors Note: Once again Osvaldo could leave a club before he was able to make his mark. This is unfortunate for Inter as he seemed to have made a positive impact on the pitch when he featured this season. Moreover, his partnership with Icardi seemed strong based on their embraces in training and during matches. However, outbursts such as Osvaldo’s are counter-productive on the pitch regardless of how much we all wish Icardi had passed him that ball.

I agree with you. The reaction Osvaldo has shown to Icardi and then later Mancini is 101 Osvaldo thing. I’m afraid he’s going to do it again. He pulls this shit everywhere he goes. People think he reacted like that because he’s ‘passionate’ about Inter. He’s like that because he’s bad temper. What Icardi did there, no matter how stupid that was, deserved some swearing at the heat of moment and then some serious talk to him after the match, not what Osvaldo did. Osvaldo’s reaction was quite childish and embarrassing to watch at this level of football. One could behave like that in a local match but at this level it’s inexcusable. I think we should look for a new replacement for him, Not only if the club sends him packing now, but for the next season.

guys, Osvaldo got fined because something stupid he said to Mancini after the match. not because he yelled to Icardi no matter how stupid at that time. Inter is a big club, player have to respect their coach, thats why Osvaldo got fined. since now we in the right track to CL spot, I hope Osvaldo realize and make official apology to Inter and Mancini

By suspending him wont bring him love for the club but a hate because they didn’t support him and icardi equally, because it’s not like he was the only one guilty.

Danny should definitely be given a second chance, Icardi would have done something similar anyway. These things can’t be exxagarated but instead settled like men and calmed down. Osvaldo is an important player for Inter and we have to reunite with him!

This is all nonsense. I guarantee this is just being built up by the media. It’s right that he be suspended for a game if he caused a problem in the locker room, but at the end of the day I think everyones a professional and he will rejoin the team. Media makes a feast out of anything Osvaldo or Icardi that stirs the pot. We just signed two great players everyone needs to get back to work and make sure we beat Genoa on Sunday no matter what. Forza Inter!

I sincerely hope he will make piece with the group and Mancini. He just fits our PAZZA INTER and his DETERMINATION is great to watch! His attitude is always like “me against the world” / “most hated of them all”. I also secretly hope we buy him in summer, if everything goes ok until then. I believe he still has a lot to offer!
It would be to DUMB to DUMP him only for an anger management problem during the game. Similar stuff was seen before, nobody died. He’s hot headed, everyone knows that. He shows passion. I’m actually with Osvaldo on this one. He made that run perfectly and could have received the ball in 2 moments, but Icardi went for glory… Osvaldo wanted to score against his former juBentus and beat them, while showing that HE CAN. Let’s not forget that he’s a sub, so motivation is even greater for him.
I will be dissapointed if we let him go, as he’s only getting MAD when iNJUSTICE occurs. He has skills like no other in our squad, if some people don’t understand him it’s their problem…
