Tottenham is still siting on Paulinho. The Brazilian midfielder doesn’t seem to be in the coach, Mauricio Pochettino’s plans. The White Hart Lane club don’t want to sell the player, so have therefore declined a 13 million Euro offer from Inter at least according to Evening Standard.

Khedira please..
He’s no Yaya Toure or Fernandinho.. I’ll take Lass Diarra, proven world class midfielder for free.. And he’s still 29…
thohir is giving a new year presents to us 😀 good to have plans for having young ambitious and talented players. we ‘ll slowly build a team for 5 years
How much money does Inter have???
Don’t think we were crazy enough to offer 13 mil. If we did, I’m glad they said no.
Oh, and also: MOTTAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Mota is too old mate. No point to have him back.
That depends on how much he would cost. If he manages to rescind his PSG contract as it has been said, I’d have him back in a heartbeat.
He’s a better player than Lucas/Lass/Paulinho/Mario Suarez and all our other targets and he’s a leader. We don’t have a captain, could really use him on the field. Besides, his experience is gold for us.
But he is often injured and he is 32 years old. Therefor i’ll rather see Paulinho than Motta.
Actually, his fitness problems have declined recently.
My point is that despite the fact it’s a short term investment – at least with Motta I know I’m getting quality and a leader, and he’ll probably be cheaper too.
Paulinho is obviously more expensive, and we don’t have any guarantees he’ll eve come near the form he was in when he joined Tottenham (or before that, actually).
Besides, unlike him, Motta has experience in Italy, in the club, Paulinho could take time to adapt…
Ultimately, Tottenham have said no anyway, so… 🙂
True. You r right and I agree but only if it is free. I don’t think he will be able to break his contract thou. I If we r to pay than I would prefer someone below 30
It has been said that we need to pay attention to Lucas Leiva, seems the deal is back on as the player wants to move.
