After the victory over Genoa , Mauro Icardi was interviewed by Inter Channel where he commented about the game
“10 goals aren’t bad (this season), I could have done another one if I wouldn’t missed. But I made one and I’m glad. if I will do my third headed goal? When I was a kid, I made many goals with my head since I was much taller than the others. In Serie A it’s more difficult, since they are all taller than me, but if I get the ball I have to try to find a way to score.”
and he continues..
“We must continue like this, against Juventus with did a great second half, and were on the right path and we need to do that in every single game for 90′ minutes. Now two fantastic players have arrived who makes brilliant passes and I believe I can make even another 10 goals in the returning fixtures. Podolski, Shaqiri, Rodrigo and also Guarin have real speed in front, and we need to do better in the counterattacks. There is a half season left to play and many points on stake. We have to try to reach the third spot and celebrate at San Siro”.
