Marco Fassone spoke to Sky Sports today ahead of Inter’s game against Genoa, here are his words:
The new signings?
“It has been a big week and when such important transfers are completed, it means there is a lot of hard work behind the scenes, the same goes for Kovacic’s contract renewal. It’s no coincidence that three players of this level wanted to tie themselves to Inter for a very long time, Inter are always Inter, as Rummenigge said.”
Any more big signings?
“Right now we have done the necessary moves as requested by the Coach, but now must work on the Financial Fair Play situation to prove to UEFA that we are behaving well. That means there will be sales.”
Montella complaining about Inter’s FFP Situation?
“These operations were completed within the limitations imposed. They will not have any impact on this year’s balance sheet.”

Get a life! Hernanes stays!!!
No chance on having one or two enforcements then.
they will sell primavera guys next year 🙁
I have no problem with sales if we bring in such talents as Shaqiri. Sell Kuzmanovič, Krhin, Obi, Ranocchia, Nagatomo, Jonathan, Campagnaro for all I care. Many players in current Inter are worthy of leaving the club.
Hate to say it but you might be sympathizing with Hernanes and Palacio but I think their time at the club is expiring… especially Hernanes, not a decent performance in ages from someone we paid shitloads for.
He did assist today… and this is his third game after injury (if you include the PSG match) and i think he had a decent game… and palacio was just haunted by the world cup… he clearly remembers how to score now and also he has been playing with an injury
But unlike Kuzmanovič, who is poor and had a few good games, Hernanes is class but out of form. Out of form or no, I think we can’t get that much money for him and if we have to sell for similar prices, I’d rather get rid of Kuzmanovič or someone like that. With Palacio, yeah, he is getting too old and out of form but who would want to buy him in current condition at this age?
What Zoki said about Hernanes stands. Class over form, he’ll come around.
And the same goes for Palacio. The man’s been out of form for 6 months and we’re going crazy, forgetting that the man has been our brightest and most consistent player since he arrived (along with Mateo). Let him blow off some steam, he’s been having ankle problems and his form has been on the rise again. Besides, he’s without doubt the hardest worker Inter have on the pitch (did you see him 3-4 times today making sprints into our half to disrupt Genoa’s attacks? He does that ALL the time. Practically played a wing back against Milan when Mancio arrived.)
I think the problem with sales is exactly that we can’t make them right now 😛 We’ve got some goods that are very difficult to offer, they just don’t attract interest.
This is why I think Kuzmanovic should go with the blink of an eye if we receive an offer for him now, in the middle of a patch of good form he’s been having recently, because he will undoubtedly go back to being shit soon.
I’d say we should sell Guarin as well (also hard to sell) if we’ve got a good replacement in hand, but it seems that Mancini really likes him. He was very good today and can play well from time to time, but he’s never consistent. My problem with him is that he’s a maverick, he can be a menace for 89 minutes only to pull off an amazing move in the 90th and solve the game. He’s got enormous potential, but I doubt we’ll ever get a consistent player with him.
