Mauro Icardi and his representatives are still negotiating the Argentine’s contract renewal with Inter. After Kovacic’s contract extension, it seems as if the Croat will be an integral part of Inter’s future. Sport Mediaset reports that if Inter make any sacrifices regarding the mercato, then Mauro Icardi would be the player to leave. Maurito’s successor would be Mattia Destro. The Roma player’s future remains in the balance and the former Inter Primavera player could leave the capital soon.

Calm down, lads. Underline the “IF”
I want dybala!!!!!!!! *screaming and stomping feet like a little kid wanting a toy at the shops*
Crap….stop selling our stars. Just be patient please
Same old story. I’m wondering when we’ll finally starting to learn from our mistakes? I we have to sell somebody, first we have to start with deadweights Schelotto, Pereira, Botta, Longo, old with expiring contact Campagnaro, Jonathan, Ob, Khrin. Then goes Nagatomo, Kuzmanovic, Guarin, Ranocchia. After we get rid of them we will have enough money and space for newcomers. Even if we get 40 million for Icardi, what will achieve with players like Ranocchia, Guarin, Kuzmanovic, Jonathan in the squad? And where’s the grantees, that if we fails again to reach CL spot, that we not going to sacrifice after him Kovacic and Juan? The only chance for us to get back to the top is to be patient, developing step after step and building around our young talents Juan, Kovacic, Shaqiri and Icardi. I read many rumors about players like Lucas Leiva, Diarra, Mario Suarez, Susic, etc. Don’t get me wrong, they’re good players, but we need great players to get back to the top. I believe that it’s hundred times better to buy only one great player for example 25 millions, who will make the difference, instead of bringing three decent players for 8 million each. It’s better to have only 11 but serious players, instead of 22 mediocres. Einstein definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over, and then expecting different results. Thats what we’ve doing last seasons and we still wondering why we keep failing and can’t win three games in a row.
The thing is, to sell those deadweight is not as easy as to sell a beautiful whore to a horny man! Those guys aren’t beautiful, so we have to find a really really horny club!
Or a drunk horny Man… LOL
i agree on most arguments here. but to sell them mediocre players, Inter have to go cheap. 5 mil tops for the likes of Rano. the rest can go below that. but Guarin is an improvement. i don’t think he will leave anytime sooner. the problem with Inter in the past and even today is continuing to chase after players that other clubs deemed insufficient or failure like M’villa. what these sort of players bring only failures unless they can definitely chance their way of game, or have some sort of agreement in their contracts that stated if they failed on certain requirements: match-played/amount of goals/discipinary, then the club like Inter can terminate their contracts without having to pay some sort of compensation.
Come on man, that is not how you do business. We would lost money and player that we like if we do business that way! There is no player would like to play under those circumstances, it will put black mark on our reputation as a good organization! Even if we sell all those deadweight, we need to find the replacement which will bring more money to the topic! Yes we have the young guys from primavera, but even a bright talent like bonazolli, mbaye, and puscas had a hard time to go through. So we have to be invest very carefully. But anyway, I don’t think ET will sell icardi unless there is some special agenda behind that. Beside, i think mancini know that destro isn’t capable enough to replace maurito! Forza INTER!
i know ur upset. but hey i rather got something out of it rather than seeing them leaving for free! u got to understand, these players don’t have much of value in the mercato, furthermore the way i see it, players are value in the league they playing in. serie a can be put in 4th behind la liga, premier league and bundesliga so its logic that these players only forks out say gred d prices. thats why inter have difficulties buying players, instead just able to loan with the option to buy in the end or redeem from the player they get. this is the trend in italy because they have to abide to the fair play rules. but such thing is difficult for other top league like what we read about inter’s attempt to aquire mario suarez from atl. madrid, a club willing to sell but loan? not really.
At least you have to try, not to take the easiest solution and sell our most valuable players. Doesn’t matter what price we will achieve, getting rid of those players, you can imagine how much money we will save only from missing wages. And there will be more space for developing our own youngsters.
I am completely agree with you mate, but like i said, it ain’t easy! we have to be patient. Don’t you think our management are trying to get rid those guys right now? I like to believe so, because if they not, we’ll stuck with them til their contract run down.
sadly inter can’t get any great players these days, unless they go and win the el and qualify for net season cl. the most they can do is look up other prospect in serie a. what inter go for players from other leagues are those that are overlook or deemed unsuitable in their team like podolski and shaq. so the einstein definition here is: inter get bad, to make them look good, but the results are not always appeasing, i agree. this is not inter problem alone but the whole league. serie a needs to improve, make it great again, then maybe great players will come again..
Don’t like Destro, he can miss almost everything and then score some crazy goal. He is too inconsistent with his finishing. Dybala would be great but Zamparini would ask to much, he’s crazy, you can’t do business with him.
I’m against selling Icardi for now but ih he doesn’t renew his contract until summer then Inter should cash in on him while they still can.
disagreed, Icardi will be one of the best strikers in near future. It would be big mistake to sell him so soon just for 20 milion net income as we will not found the same qualified striker with less than 20ish milion price tag
I can’t fucking believe it. Now Thohir want to sell? Icardi is one of the best strikers in Serie A. Freaking 10 goals in a shitty team like Inter. I don’t care if the guy sleep as long as he scores.
Who can say they score in their sleep except Ibrahimovic?
Lol, Roma saying they want 20 million for Destro… how much do we expect to get for Icardi?
If we can sell icardi for 40 million euros, then we should start looking for paulo dybala for 25-30m
Agreed; finisher out; adaptable striker…although Icardi does possess some of the best finishing in Serie A…his dribbling as well as his sleep is lacking…while Dybala has great dribbling and speed but meh finishing…it would be interesting; although I would be against Destro…Icardi>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Destro
dybala has less appearances and the same amount of goals as icardi. so im pretty sure his finishing is alright. i would prefer to see dybala at inter instead of icardi. dybala is a way better player for mancinis ideas since he can play on more than one position in the attack.
yes for Dybala….Destro is too fragile and frequently injured.
Agree with u.. Coz destro is inconsistent and predictable for sure.. Although he is little bit similar with milito but he has no potential to be better than icardi or even milito for sure
Icardi=+40 Out
Destro= -10 in
Mario Suarez=-10 in
+20m for the summer!
