SportMediaset reports about the meeting between Piero Ausilio and Icardi’s agents Abian Morano and Ulisse Savini. An agreement wasn’t found and the parties will meet against in February, but there’s optimism. Icardi has asked for 2.2 million euro’s a season which is more than double the ammount that he is making now. Inter has been offering 1.750 million euro’s and this is the distance at the moment. There weren’t any discussion about the marketing rights to the players as it seems to be given that the player will handle them himself.

Come on. Icardi deserves a pay over 2.2m per season. He is the one who scores goals for us. As far as I know, Palacio, Guarin and Vidic earn over or around 3m per season. So, Inter must renew Icardi’s contract by agreeing his 2.2m wage demand. I do not think Guarin and Vidic deserve to earn over 2m per season.
I think that Icardi already feels home at Inter. The previous news said that he wants 3 million, and now it is lowered to 2.2. So, I’m pretty sure they will find an agreement soon. Juan, Kovacic, Shaqiri and Icardi are the future of Inter.

I don’t mean this in the way that we should suddenly splash money or anything, BUT, if we are going to become a competitive team again, there will be huge salaries for huge players. You can’t have a class team rolling on such salaries that we have now.

I agree about paying the right salaries to the right players. I mean its quite confusing(makes you sad and your brain hurt) when you think how much Guarin and such are making and how much the cores of the team(Handanovič, Kovačič, Icardi, JJ,..) are making.
3 player :palacio 3.2 – Vidic 3 and guarin 2.9 … and i think just vidic deserve his salary and two others must leave us . the other players has good salary .
If we can get a midfield target, especially suarez, then guarin can leave.
1st proving your value, winning games, reaching objectives, THEN pay rise! Today’s footballers are ALREADY waaaay overpayed! I mean they should have a lower basic salary + higher bonuses on personal and team objectives.
