Inter and Mauro Icardi are still negotiating a contract renewal until 2019. The Nerazzurri want to pay Icardi 2.4 million euros per year, but the Argentine is not satisfied with this sum. Icardi wants to earn the same salary as Rodrigo Palacio and Nemnja Vidic; two of Inter’s highest paid players. The striker’s salary demand is believed to be around 3 million euros per year.

icardi can not earn more than Kovacic. In my opinion the duo should have same salaries.
I don’t want to under mine Kovacic’s bond to Inter by paying Icardi more than Kova.
Kova is much more team-playing and playmaker player than Icardi.

On one side, he is right, why not have the same salary as some of the least useful players on the team at the moment. On the other side, the problem is not paying Icardi too less, but paying those two too much.
Well here’s some nice advice… sell palacio and vidic… give icardi a fitting salary… then buy a new forward and defence who are better than palacio and vidic… and give them a salary that’s less than 3 mil
Agree with you. Icardi can become a hot start very soon. If he is handled properly, the club can start making money on him by selling lots jerseys and other stuff with his name. Kind of what Real Madrid does with every player they buy. Palacio and Vidic are done, nobody is going to buy a jersey with their name or tun on the TV just to watch those two playing. So, I can see that the difference in Salary is not fair. I think that Mauro needs to make something similar to what Kova and Shakiri make, maybe less but no more .
