False tactical formation and always playing the mediocre players especially like palacio, kuz, guarin, vidic and also ranocchia, when the other have a match ban or injury. He have no choice with the starting line-up, but he should be have a choice for tactical formation. Maybe without Medel as a strong DM, Mancini can try 4-3-1-2 with hernanes as CM replacing palacio. Same goes for Mancini, he stubbornly insist on 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-2-1, despite it’s obvious that doesn’t work. Palacio, Podolski and Shaqiri are not real wingers, where’s required other qualities. Except 4-3-1-2 i think that Mancini can try too 4-4-2 with diamond in the middle some of Medel, Guarin, Brozovic in front of the defense, Kovacic, Hernanes, Guarin, Brozovic left and right midfielders and Shaqiri, Hernanes behind the strikers.

How Ranocchia is our captain is beyond me. At this point I would bring Cuchu, Samuel, Milito and I would bring Zanetti back from retirement and I’m pretty sure they’ll do a better job than our current players.
Torino were defending defending deep and strong aerially. That made us get nothing from set pieces, and also their goal. They broke often and forced us to defend, and we weren’t able to break often. Palacio was poor. Should have done better with his chances. Icardi miss on 74th, I think. We must keep in mind that injuries hampered the flow, and the subs exhausted. Kovacic and Guarin should have pressed forward more.
Where was Hernanes and Medel? Kuzmanovic was invisible. Obi tried, not a bad game from him. He got in some areas and crosses were decent.
We were direct and predictable. Maybe more creativity and off the ball movement is needed to open spaces.
I am worried about the injuries to Andreolli and D’ambrosio. We are already thin in defense. Also, bookings to Icardi and D’ambrosio wont help, as we don’t have good replacements in case they are suspended.
