He comes on a free transfer and obviously has a preference to play for us right now (though so did M’Vila, look how that turned out). Also, Medel can’t do everything on his own all season long in that role, and there isn’t another adequate destroyer on the squad.
But he won’t cost us much and he’s got loads of experience and is a quality player overall. I hope he does well if he arrives.
But if we do have a choice, I would avoid giving Osvaldo to Juventus and would rather give him to Milan and try to get De Jong (use him as leverage).

I don’t understand; if he looses his caes HE will have to pay them compesation but if he wins They will have to pay him money, but in neither case does the outcome concerns us!? I mean the money will have to come from HIS own pocket not ours if he looses, right? Why should we be obligated to pay the money?
