Inter are currently trying to negotiate a deal with Gremio for Rhodolfi. The player wants to join Inter and the only obstacle left if the formula of the transfer. Sky reports that Gremio want to sell the player outright, while Inter want the defender on loan with a redemption fee in June. Inter’s current offer to the Brazilin club is 500 000 euros for a loan, with a redemption fee of 3-4 million euros to be payed in June.

I believe with a few days remaining this deal will not happen, Inter should have focused more on trying to sign Udinese defensive duo Thomas Heurtaux and Silvan Widmer this transfer window. Heurtaux and Widmer would have been very good buys with both players being young versatile defenders capable of playing in Defense and Midfield. The Frenchmen Heurtaux has been a pillar in the heart of Udinese’s defense and at times playing as a defensive midfielder. The Swiss Widmer is a player linked to the nerazzurri in the past, He is a right back that can play on the left or either wing very versatile. These players have been good safe purchases that would have strengthen the teams defense. Inter could have also looked into signing another Udinese player in Brazilian defensive midfielder Allan instead of continuing to have do business with Liverpool for Lucas Leiva. The transfer window isnt closed yet anything can happen, Even a Cassano and Diarra Inter signing on a free transfer wouldn’t be bad for the club and cant be ruled out.
