Fabian Murillo is Inter’s top target to aid the defense. The Colombian will join Inter in June for a free transfer, but the Nerazzurri want to sign a defender this January to save their season. FcInternews.it reports that Cali will be Inter’s top target this January with Luiz Rhodolfo being the alternative. Aleksandar Dragovic might be a surprise signing this transfer window. At the moment, Inter are working on bringing in Murillo this January, but it will not be easy.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has done a good job this winter transfer window in securing the services of Podolski, Shaquiri and Brozovic all on loan deals. Ausilo should have focused on Inters weakness’s which is our defense and in midfield, after he had strengthen the teams offense with the arrivals of Podolski and Shaquiri. Jeisson Murillo “The wall of Granada” is a hard working central back that is good news to Inter fans that he will be coming in the summer but with Granada fighting to stay in the La Liga The Pozzo Family(Owners of Watford, Udinese and Granada) where unwilling to do business with any club this transfer window. Ausilio should have done more business with clubs within the peninsula, focused on players that are playing well in Serie A. He could have turned to another Pozzo family owned club in Udinese, A few of the Udinese players have been a revelation this season in Thomas Heurtaux, Silvan Widmer and Allan. The Frenchmen Heurtaux has been a very versatile player playing in a defensive midfield role and being the main pillar in the heart of the Udinese back line. Silvan Widmer has been mostly playing in his natural right back role but has also been deployed on either side of the pitch in defense and midfield at times and played well. Brazilian Allan his been Udinese’s dynamic midfilder thus far this season with his good tackling skills in the middle of the pitch and had improved his passing and dribbling since coming to Serie A from Vasco Da Gama. I was disappointed we werent able to get Roberto Pereyra last summer on loan from Udinese instead he goes to our arch rivals Juve on loanand has to fight for a starting 11 spot and is warming the bench in Turin, I would have liked to have seen the underrated versatile Argentine in the nerazzurri midfield with his qualities and skill set similar to that of the Chilean Arturo Vidal. Ausilo could have also looked into getting Palermo’s Ezequiel Munoz the Argentine has been the backbone of the Sicilian outfits back line and has improved his defensive skills through the years and still a mere 24yr he can still develop into a quality defender for both club and country. Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano would have been a player Ausilo should have focused on first on bring the young Italian midfielder to the San Siro with him being a main contributor to his clubs success and Italian Coach Antonio Conte calling him up for his national team debut means his stock is rising, but with the recent sale of Alfred Duncan and Federico Bonazzoli to Sampdoria there could be a deal between the two clubs in the summer for Soriano. I believe the players I mentioned would have brought immediate impact to the Nerazzurri and with there age’s would have continued in the rebuilding project that Thorir wants at the San Siro, but most importantly we would have avoided a tag a war fight this summer with Juventus for there signature especially that Juve love to link the same players Inter link themselves to.
Started reading but then I fell asleep! 😉
100%yes to dragovic if we can get him??
Why don’t we play and trust vidic more. Why have we forgot that last year he was one of the best cb in the entire europe ? He made mistakes but that is normal. He needed time
Dragovic is a beast but I don’t see us getting him just yet.
Good news after good news… please transfer market, never end
Agree! Fassone and Ausillio are doing OUTSTANDING work and the deals they are striking are so creative and well thought through – so NOT “Branca-ish” 😉
