Here it is, the deal is in place for Davide Santon to return to Inter.
Everything seems set at this point. Within the last hour the details have been leaked.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the deal is in very advanced stages with travel accommodations and medical appointments being set for the player for tomorrow.
Alfredo Pedullà confirms the deal. “Free loan with an obligation to buy outright for €4 million after 13 appearances.”

I’m not sure if this would be a good move. We are currently having problem with wing backs’ injuries and adding in an injury prone player into the calculation would not be wise (Glad we only have to pay after 13 appearances tho). I like santon but i am not convinced about how this guy would improve the team (He didnt do much at Newcastle either). I would prefer someone like Zappacosta or Darmian to carry the team forward, but hey, Prove me wrong, Davide.

Great signing! (for this season anyway) true he is injury prone, but he might do well under our new fitness coach. We are really lacking in the full back department and though I would rather have had darmian, this guy is good too. I guess beggers can’t be chooser
