In 11 games under Mazzarri inter let in 13 goals yet under Mancini they

while Mancini only averages 1 point per game! The players are to blame.

Mancini took over a dead inter with a very strange mentality… so its natural to see him struggling, but in my opinion mancini has probably been spoiled by man city’s players (all of them were great and could adapt to new roles)
after many years, Mancini has to rely on his abilities as a coach, and that’s clearly not enough – there is no Moratti-style mercato anymore nor Man City’s endless bank account behind his back
time will prove he was a poor option for such a rebuild-project – even worse than Mazzarri, if we go on like this
What sucks is that mancini clearly is very good at convincing players for projects, yet I still have hope for him – now with JJ back and brozovic getting a chance to start, mancini can change the formation to something more fitting because the players need to play their original roles (and maybe try playing with icardi and podo alongside each other)

It is not so easy to build 2-3 new players into a squad during a short period. It will take some time. The CL spot is an unreasonable expectation from this team. Forza Mancini!
His original formation was good. Don’t know why he switched when we got Podolski and Shaqiri. We seem so slow and out of ideas with all those quick and creative players. The only good thing is that Mancini seems to learn from mistakes. So I expect a new formation for the next game. And a benched good portion of today’s “heroes”.
4-3-1-2 wasnt his original formation. he only used it because we had no real wingers. 4-2-3-1 is his prefered formation. but i agree with u that he should try another formation out since 4-2-3-1 isnt working for our midfield.
