According to fresh reports from “Sky”, Sampdoria has reached an agreement with Inter that will see Bonazzoli move in the other direction. Sampdoria will loan the striker back to Inter until July, but they have essentially purchased him for 5-6M. However, Inter will retain the right to repurchase the player for 9-10M.

although I highly rated Bonazzoli, there’s no guarantee that he can do well in the future (especially in near future). and if he can do well, we still can buy him for reasonable price.

Why not? He’s only 17 and it will take a lot for him to play regularly at Inter with expectation being so high. Just look at the comments on this site. Palacio has been our savior for the last 3 seasons and just 1/2 bad season because of injury and he’s being bash with no respect.
Also, I don’t think the youth loan system works really well in Serie A. Small clubs tend to use loan youth as backup or squad players since they won’t profit even if they grow. However if there’s a great profit involve, they would be more willing to use and develop the player. In this case, if Bonazzoli really turn out to be a 10M+ striker, Sampdoria would double their investment and we would get a 10M+ striker for only 5M. There’s still possibilities that we might loose him, but there’s never a fool proved plan. So far, our approach on loan haven’t really work out, all I see is youth being loaned out to different clubs every season without much growth or play time. I don’t see why we can take another approach.

well this is a good move, sell Bonazzoli for 6 mill when you have a mandatory buyout for Dodo for 9 mill…..not even branca would be stupid enough to sell bonazzoli + 3 mill for Dodo……….what’s the point of putting a buy back clause in the deal i mean think about it, when was the last time inter had a successful italian striker? was it Christian Vieri ?? and don’t give me that Pazzini crap cuz he sucks and Cassano, well, how long did he last at inter !
