Nagatomo is such trash. Why does every coach pick him over everyone else? The whole game he’s just chasing players he’s supposed to mark and doesn’t really scare anyone with possession. And when he does try to tackle, he commits a foul. You can’t trust him under pressure to make a good pass and the only thing he’s good for is crossing the ball and even that is way below par to other left backs.

I’m more worried about Nagatomo on the left. He looked terrible on Wednesday; all the industry in the world with minimal efficiency. I would personally rather see Dodo; at least there is potential for improvement there. Will also be interesting to see who is the left CM and left wing, because they will have to constantly be on their toes for defensive cover. If Guarin is on the left, we are sure in for a lapse in concentration between him and Nagatomo.
