The Spanish newspaper AS released a draft of how much each league and team get out of TV broadcasting money in the European top five leagues for the 2013/2014 season, normally the English Premier League summed up the most amount of money with around €1.9 billion followed secondly with a huge margin by Serie A who racked up €850 million.
Now for what matters, Inter came in second after Juventus with a whopping €80 million, followed by AC Milan, Roma and Napoli in Serie A, and came in the seventeenth position in Europe.
What was worth noting is that Cardiff City, the least EPL earner earns €75 million which is more than Roma and other 16 Serie A Clubs, more than the whole Bundesliga clubs who are topped by Bayern Munich with €37 million, more than the whole Ligue 1 clubs who are topped by PSG with €45 million and more than 18 La Liga clubs.

Well it means serie a is still more markatable than ligue 1 and bundesliga.
It is ridiculous. British teams earn too much.
they do, but they have also sold theire souls for money and what we used to call “English football” – both in terms of playing style, tactics, nationality of the players and coaches, the names of the stadiums and the origin of the spectators – has totally changed only for the PL to be able to sell it’s product world wide.
If you whatch a game no adays from England you won’t see anything on the screen that tells you that this game is played in England and not in America for example.
I hope Serie A learns from PL in terms of trying to sell the league world wide more, but we should ALWAYS have the “italian wibe” in Serie A!
