After his fantastic performance in Inter’s 3-3 draw against Celtic, Juan Pablo Carrizzo spoke to Mediaset Premium about the match:
“We had a decent game. Scoring three goals here is not easy. They always gained in confidence when we lost the ball. I am a bit disappointed for how the match finished, especially on the last goal. However, if I was offered this result this morning, I would have taken it.”

Does inter still got a chance how does the away goal rule work?
1st goal:
Matthews make simple 1-2 pass and then sneak behind kuzmanovic that already fall, Santon cant catch up the speed and also didn’t try to tackle (where he is in good position to do it and technically he should) looks like he given up matthews to our centre back, Matthews aproaching penalty box and both Rano is on position to mark Griffiths (since he is closer) then our Campagnaro also try to mark the same guy where he should allert for someone come from behind.. And yes, seeing 2 defender marking Griffiths, matthews give the far pass where Armstrong comes from the middle and unmarked… Bang…!!!
2nd goal:
Like the game vs Napoli.. From simple throw in, not a single our player can cut it and the ball comes to the area where Ranochia is there marking an celtic guy and at the same time he should head the ball outside instead give a way to carrizo to catch it, and his poor decission lead to another 50/50 chance where another celtic guy aproaching the ball, campagnaro aware of this movement and he did good job to keep close to his target, shame the ball touch his foot and lead to own goal.
3rd Goal:
It’s all started when Kovacic fail to clear the ball and simply give the ball to celtic guy in front of our penalty box and he decide to make lob pass to the strikers. We have 8 players stood watching another goal about to happen instead run backward to fill the penalty box and prevent the goal, and but yeah our backline decide to use offside line in a very crucial dying minutes… What an Idiot decission…
Our backline is lack of awareness, and making so many poor decission… Thats what happen in 3 years a row…
This is what happen all the time.. Everybody freeze…
Should be like this…
every goal from them, I can’t see JJ. he left his pos way too often. he need to improve his positioning

carrizo good performance.. rano , campagnaro don’t like inter player… very weak & fool.. sell them.. buy hummel & murillo..
lack of “commanding person” at the back make it our defender look like a pack of duckling without its mother, don’t know what to do, don’t know where to go, just meaningless run and chase the ball
Carrizo, hmmm to be honest he wasn’t bad at all.He is really dependable, the defence ahead of him well….that’s another story but it isn’t over yet! 180 minute game and going home surely we’ll have the upper hand,at least I would like to think so.Once the fans supports the players instead of getting on the backs of them for every mistake we should be fine. #forzainter
I think he should punch right out the second goal ball before it reach campagnaro…
That was definately ranocchias fault. He should have headet it away from danger
I don’t even know why he decided not to jump.
Letting a ball in the penalty box like that is an amateurish mistake
I think you’re right, if ranno could jump 4 m
lol. he shielded him and was focused on shoving him away. the ball landed straight behind him.. instead of shoving him, he could take one step back and head it away.

look at 0:53. tell me how he couldn’t make that header?
Any way where is jj?should jj paired up with ranno?as ranno was occupied shielding another celtic player
JJ on offensive mode like usuall. like I said before, JJ on this match play not too good, he left his pos way too often
I sometimes feel really bad for Carrizo because he always proves himself for us, deserves a team where he is a starter, could easily be first GK for half of Serie A teams. But on the other side, it’s really good to know we have such an awesome backup goalkeeper.
Yes, he is good. But still, we got Batmanovic! 🙂
I agree with you, he showed us many quality saves not just from this game. Nice to see him got an opportunity to play. He said that he’s quite disappointed as Inter lost from Napoli in Coppa Italia because the competition gave him time to play.

He should have taken the last goal.
Keep the head high!
