Inter.it gives us an interview with “Il Bambino” Davide Santon who talks about his physical status, the game against Celtic and the club’s objectives:

“Physically I’m in good shape. I’m getting back to full fitness. My nickname? I don’t mind being called “bambino” (kid). I’ve grown up over the last few years, maturing on the pitch and off of it.”

The defender continued talking about the game against Celtic:

“I think we put in a great performance. We probably could’ve managed the game better, but that’s something we’re working on. Mancini has a wealth of experience and has won so much during his career. He gives us such a boost – we’re a young, growing team. We’re determined to win our third game on the spin. Cagliari is a big match, especially as we want to go into Thursday on a high. Having said that, we need to take it one game at a time. Playing at the Stadio Sant’Elia certainly won’t be easy – they have a great coach and are a better team than their league position would suggest. We need to be patient and play our game.”

Santon finished by talking about Mateo Kovacic:

“He’s a young lad and has the talent to become a world-class player. His time will come, mark my words.”
