Inter are already thinking in a plan B in case of the departure of Mauro Icardi in the summer, Ciro Immobile is the most viable option at the moment, despite him stating numerous times that he intends to remain at Borussia Dortmund.
According to SportMediaSet, Inter are closely monitoring the Italian with Liverpool said to be ready to offer a hefty figure in order to lure the striker into Anfiled.

Immobile is a lesser version of icardi. Can’t create his own shot. Not sure I’d like to trade for him just because he had one good season in torino.
If we get him for a half price of Dortmund paid for him last summer, then take this guy, he just cant adapt in bundesliga.
That’s one part of the problem, the other one is that Dortmund themselves have been in ruins this season.

If Icardi HAS to go, then I’d be okay with Immobile. He’s a good striker, played very well for Torino in the Serie A, and would probably come relatively cheap considering the season he’s had at Dortmund and the season they are having overall.

Why not? Only because he sucks atm whit Dortmund he is already a bad striker? Trust me, if some of the Serie A clubswill buy him we will score a lot.
He doesn’t have too much to prove in Serie A, was Capocannoniere playing for Torino (!) last season. The guy can score, he knows Italy well.
I think we’ll have to sell Icardi, and I’d rather have Immobile than Gignac, that’s for sure.
But the main thing here is that he was and now he’s too far away from that. Cerci was too, after that fails miserably in Atletico and now he’s nothing special in Milan. Doesn’t have to mention that Immobile is not typical number nine and can’t be successor of Icardi. Did you thought why he never got a chance in Juventus? Even after he became Capocannoniere, they have 50% of him, but decided to let him go to Dortmund. If we’ll be forced to sell Icardi for good amount of money, there will be much more better options than him.
Watched him many times at Dortmund this season, his reactions with the ball are just two slow, especially for Bundesliga. He would probably do better at Italy if he comes back because you have more time on the ball there but I wouldn’t bring him. Inter should aim for someone who is more suited for the modern football.
He and Cerci had a very good season, got transfers to a much bigger clubs and failed, that just confirmed my suspicions that they are not big players. They can do good at little clubs but they will fail at big ones.
