After Inter’s narrow 2-1 victory against Cagliari, Roberto Mancini spoke to Sky:
“We had a very good first half where we should have scored some goals. Then after we made it 2-0, our performance declined because Longo played well and they caused us problems. Kovacic was good and deserves praise. He started instead of Hernanes or Kuzmanovic, but I can always rotate the lineup. Today Icardi played well, but he must always play well.”
Why did Inter not have a lot of possession?
“We did not, especially after we made it 2-0. We were stretched, but we played very well in the first half.”
Why has Podolski not scored yet?
“Podolski will eventually score. Usually he is someone who scores goals in these circumstances, but on this occasion he was a little bit unlucky.”

Lol These questions…
right now i’m wondering which of podolski and palacio is our 2nd choice forward. I thought/hoped poldi was going to have a bit more impact. we must keep icardi…
Hmmm…well I would have to go with Palacio as a strike option and he would even get my vote in general, he might not score alot of goals but he works very hard both on and off the ball, with Podolski playing when we don’t have the ball we’re effectively down to 10 men.Even with the ball he isn’t a player that runs in behind defenders,I mean he isn’t slow but yeah.So with that being said I would have to go with Palacio.
