After a group of Feyenoord fans literally attempted to destroy the Italian capital during their Europa League match against Roma, the city of Milan does not want their city to be trashed with broken beer bottles next. Inter will play Celtic in Milan on Thursday, and are taking precautions in order to prevent violence and vandalism in the city. No Alcohol will be sold at the Orio al Serio airport from 12:30 CET-15:00 CET. The Celtic fans will arrive in Milan on Wednesday at 12:30 CET. The ban will repeat on Thursday from 10:30 CET- 13:00 CET. The prohibition of the sale of alcohol will end on Friday from 22.30 CET- 0:30 CET. Hopefully, no violence or vandalism will occur and the focus will be on the football

Inter finally know, how to beat drunken fist warrior 😀
Wow, Dutch fans riot at football match? In other news, Celtic fans aren’t Feyenoord fans. Any Inter supporter who travelled to Glasgow will tell you that scarves, not punches were swapped at Parkhead. Most discerning football people know the travelling Celtic support is well behaved. Police brutality in Amsterdam aside, the headlines are wholelly positive when the hoops visit. This is over officious nonsense.
I think you are wrong. When your neighbours home get decimated by some visitors, you are bound to be apprehensive about any visitor coming to your home – especially when you are no psychic.
The measures taken by the city of Milan is not to be misconstrued as an attack on the warm Celtic fans. I know the Celts are very welcoming and friendly, but the Italians are not willing to take any chances with anyone regardless of their past records.

A knee jerk reaction does no favours for anyone. These travelling fans, spending money and taking time off work to see Milan now can’t enjoy a drink on their trip because of Dutch fans…in Rome? How can that possibly reflect on us?
Most of the points raised here refer to thin stereotypes of Scottish football. “They’re always drunk, why take the chance?”. Would you be so accepting if the Scottish public raised concerns that Inter might try to fix the match? “It happened at Juve, so we should be concerned about Italian clubs”???? The logic is baffling.
that’s kinda shame,
im going for the match and thought it’d be nice to see the drunken Scottish 😀
but completley understandable..
Then you will have to pray for another meeting elsewhere outside of Italy to see your beloved drunken Scots.
Don’t worry guys Kuz stockpiles booze for just such occasions!! FORZA KUZ!!
Good, these celtic fans are deunk 24/7… no offence just kidding
