Paulinho: “I was close to leave Spurs in January”

Tottenham’s central midfielder, Paulinho spoke about the transfer market that was in Winter.

“I was close to leave Spurs during the transfer window this winter, There were a couple of offers and I confirm that I was close for a departure. I received offer both from Europe and Brazil but in the end I stayed here. I feel comfortable and I’m happy here, I have an excellent relation with Pochettino. I’m doing well and I can’t complain”.

According to London Evening Standard the teams that circulated around Paulinho in winter were Fiorentina, Juventus, Inter, Milan , Valencia and Sevilla.
